What problems are we solving?
- Healthcare services for nearly 1 million adults with cerebral palsy in the United States is severely lacking
- Adults with cerebral palsy are left with no clear path forward after aging out of the pediatric healthcare system
-There are significant gaps in the literature, coupled with the lack of access to providers who are equipped to provide quality care
How will we do it?
Led by adults with CP, for adults with CP, we're doing everything we can to ensure that we all have access to the tools we need to better manage this disability as we age. Alongside a dedicated group of clinicians and researchers, we're developing clinical practice guidelines that take a preventative care approach to establishing a standard of care for adults with cerebral palsy.
